A chamber that defines its members to the percentage point.
Corporate A Members of the Chamber are legal entities, with registered offices in Georgia, doing business in Georgia, and interested in the purposes for which the Chamber is organized.
What counts as an American connection here
Their four Corporate A criteria, quoted in full, because this is how they define the members they want.
- a
A company founded or incorporated in the US, whose principal place of management is located in the US, with the majority of the members of its Board of Directors, officers, and shareholders U.S. citizens. It must submit a consolidated corporate income tax return for its worldwide operations to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service on an annual basis. Companies falling in this group do not need to have offices registered in Georgia provided they own at least 33 percent of a registered and operational Georgian company or movable property and have a permanent representative in Georgia.
- b
A company with more than 33 percent U.S. ownership.
- c
A Georgian legal entity doing at least 33 percent of its annual revenues in the US.
- d
A Georgian legal entity with significant trading activity with the US provided trading with the US exceeds 33 percent of its annual turnover.
Who is in it
Members as their own pages name them. Three are printed with the category they hold and are shown with it; the others appear on the chamber’s member strip with no rank against them. This is not their whole membership and it is not presented as one.
Their own banner at the June luncheon is headed "Patron Members" and carries the marks of Bank of Georgia, GULF, PricewaterhouseCoopers, UGT, TBC and Wolt. Their patron membership page, read on the same day, says "Coming soon...". Both are theirs and neither is reconciled here.
What the chamber publishes
To avoid loading time problems we can maintain 4 banners only at the same time.
Investor.ge is their analytical business magazine, and it carries advertising alongside the website.
amcham.ge/pages.php?pg=3Who to ask for
The chamber publishes one address, one telephone number and two people to ask for. Its email address is served through an obfuscation script, so the page carries a placeholder where the mailbox would be and none is guessed at here.
Their own photographs of it
Each from a dated diary folder on their own site, captioned with the entry their front page prints for that date.

Six categories, one committee page, one magazine, and a diary that runs to a rafting day.
Legal entities who are not eligible as Corporate A Members but who demonstrate an interest in fulfilling the purposes of the Chamber. They may participate in Chamber activities, attend Chamber meetings, and designate two individuals as their representatives.
